My mama has been making this recipe for decades and it was my papas favourite biscuit! Always delicious, ever fails to make a yummy bikkie. I always roast my peanuts extra before adding so that they’re extra crispy

I have loved this recipe for decades. I use blanched (skinless) peanuts and roast them myself... and because I'm lazy I do this as a traybake 'biscuit' Using a slice tin. It takes between 20 to 30 mins to cook. When you check at 20 mins. you listen to 'cookies', if they crackle they need at least another 5 mins in oven then check again. Cool for upto 5 mins. Cut into portions then let cool completely in slice tin.
