A magic pudding trick in which sugar and cocoa on top of the pudding mixture are miraculously transformed into a smooth chocolate sauce underneath it. Always a favourite with children and adults alike.

Good recipe, added 1/2 cup of milk to the cake mixture as it looked dry and an extra cup of water for the sauce didn’t add the cornflour. Turned out perfect! Cream or ice cream on the side mmm
Needs 1/2 cup milk
It was pretty good but luckily I read the reviews about how the cake mix was to dry. so I added 1/2 a cup of milk in and it was perfect

Every time I make this people love it. BUT I find it confusing, and am never sure I’ve made it right. The cake mixture isn’t too dry, but my issue is the liquid that ends up swilling around on the top. It seems yucky and watery? I always spoon about 3/4 cup off before serving it. It seems like it should be thicker? That said, it’s always a success so I guess ‘the proof is in the pudding’ ha!
Disappointing dry not enough sauce do not understand why you have cornflour in the sauce mixture sorry but will not use it again
Too dry. Needs milk.
Thankyou
It is very yummy I had it with my family its perfect for desert and I recommend and its so good for the kiddes to make too. It is my favourite pudding I love the chocolate sauce in my opinion you can have any ice cream on the side so I give this pudding 5 stars ;)
The recipe is missing 1/2 cup of milk in the cake batter. Would be very dry without it
