A few sprigs of rosemary and some thinly sliced garlic (optional)
Method
Put the water, yeast, salt, sugar and 1 tablespoon of the flour into a large mixing bowl. Stir together, cover and leave for 10 minutes.
Add the remaining flour and mix until smooth. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and set aside for at least 45 minutes, or up to 2½ hours to rise.
Preheat the oven to 220˚C bake. Oil a large, shallow roasting dish.
Scrape the risen dough into the dish and, with oiled hands, spread it out evenly. Dimple the top with your fingers and sprinkle with salt. Add small sprigs of rosemary and scatter with the garlic if you like.
Bake for 15 minutes until risen and golden brown. Brush with more oil if you wish and serve warm.
The first couple of times were s disaster but tweaked it a bit and was great

Agreed with David. Terrible recipe! Mine turned out way too liquidy. I couldn’t even dimple the dough. Recipe was followed as instructed so not sure why it went so wrong.

TERRIBLE, I have experience with making focaccia bread and love a good recipe but however this recipe is so bad, I thought I would try a new easy recipe but from the start I could not see this going well as the dough turned hard (too much flour in the recipe, meant to be a soft dough) I had to bin a whole lot of good ingredients that were expensive and didn't even make it to the oven, I wouldn't recommend!

Just made this for dinner, to go with a corn chowder.
Really easy recipe, think it might one I’ll keep in rotation, was able to prep it all in 15 minutes on a break from work and then bake when I finished to eat in under 20 mins (chowder was cooked by someone else).

I have made this recipe countless times and it always turns out amazing!!! (i even have one in the oven now!!) one thing i would recomend is brushing the bread with oil before putting it into the oven becuase it just makes it genrally better. my favourite topping is rosemary but you can do it with pretty much anything!

Incredibly easy to make and tastes amazing! Definitely use baking paper.

This is so easy to make and versatile, I put spaghetti, ham and a little cheese on top before baking and made pizza bread. Great for school lunchboxes

I recommend using baking paper as well as oil in the pan or it can stick badly. Delicious, though.
