Method

  1. In a saucepan mix the custard powder, sugar and ΒΌ cup of the milk to a smooth paste.
  2. Add the remaining milk and heat gently, stirring constantly until the custard boils and thickens.

My mum has made this for years, and I just love it. I even now love making it, also the custard is so versatile you can add anything to it, when I make it I like to put vanilla essence in the milk, and if I have any some bananas on the too.
