Cream Cheese Icing

Ingredients

  • ​2 Tbsp butter, softened (or Olivani Spread)
  • ¼ cup Meadow Fresh cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Chelsea icing sugar
  • ½ tsp finely grated lemon zest

Method

  1. ​Beat the butter and cream cheese until creamy. Sift over the icing sugar and add the lemon zest, beating well to combine.

Why is it yellow? I was expecting white cream cheese frosting

The icing can be slightly yellow due to the butter (NZ butter is often yellow because of the grass fed cows). Hope it still tasted amazing!
