Everything you need to know to get the best out cooking and baking with Edmonds products.
1 cup Edmonds Plain Flour
2 cups water
Colourful sticks (painted ice cream sticks work well!)
Basket (we used a small plastic planter)
Blow up your balloon and tie a knot.
Stick your cardboard together to create a tube and stick it to the bottom of the balloon using tape.
Mix flour and water together until there are no lumps.
Tear the paper into strips and dip into the flour mixture one strip at a time, using your fingers to get rid of the excess mixture. Stick the strips to the balloon, wrapping around the base until you’ve covered the full balloon and base with 2 layers.
Set aside and allow to dry for a few hours or overnight. Top tip: balance it in a bowl so it doesn’t fall over while drying.
Once dry, decorate with paint and add the basket using the sticks. Get creative and add more decorations using crafts you have around the house!
