More like a bread loaf than a cake. Meant to be eaten buttered or with chutney and cheese.
1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Grease and line a 22cm loaf tin.
2. Beat the eggs in a bowl with milk and oil. Add salt, sugar, oats, bran, cheese and wholemeal flour. Sift in flour and baking powder. Mix well to combine.
3. Spoon into loaf tin.
4. Bake or 45 to 50 minutes or until loaf springs back when lightly touched. Leave in tin for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack.
