Black Forest Cheesecake

The texture of this dessert is more mousse like rather than a heavy cheesecake. Best make the night before.

Prep Time: 1 hour 30 mins or overnight


  • 1 packet Edmonds Continental Cheesecake Mix
  • 6 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 11/2 cups cold Meadow Fresh milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped cherries
  • 100g chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • Grated chocolate


  1. Put contents of biscuit base sachet into a bowl. Mix in butter. Press crumbs firmly over base and sides of a greased 20cm pie plate or over the base and halfway up sides of a spring-form tin. Chill.

  2. Into an electric mixer bowl place milk and contents of filling sachet. Beat on low speed until all ingredients are moistened. Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes or until thick and creamy. Fold cherries and chocolate through cheesecake mixture.

  3. Pour into prepared crumb shell. Chill until firm. 4. Serve decorated with whipped cream and grated chocolate.
