The perfect Valentine's Day treat! Emoji Heart Eye Cupcakes.
1. Prepare and bake cupcakes according to instructions on the box. Leave to cool completely.
2. Make icing according to instructions on the box, adding food colouring to tint the icing
bright yellow. Spread onto cooled cupcakes as smoothly as possible.
3. Roll out red fondant to 2-3mm thick. Use a small heart-shaped cutter to cut out 24 heart eyes. Press onto cupcakes.
4. Roll out black fondant to 2-3mm thick. Use a small round cutter to cut out 6 circles. Cut circles in half to form 12 mouths (trim the tops off if the mouths are too tall). Press onto cupcakes.
• Cupcakes keep well for 2-3 days. Store in an airtight container in a cool place.
