A rich, dark chocolate sauce which you can serve warm with ice cream, or allow it to cool and spread it over a cake.
170g dark chocolate
pinch of cinnamon
1. Chop the chocolate and put it in a saucepan with the water. Set over a gentle heat and stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
2. Add the sugar and cinnamon and stir over the heat until the sugar dissolves, then bring to the boil and simmer gently for 10–15 minutes or until the sauce has a rich and syrupy consistency.
