3 Tbsp Edmonds custard powder
2 Tbsp sugar
1½ cups milk
1 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp brandy or rum
pinch of nutmeg
1. In a saucepan, mix cornflour, sugar and ¼ cup of the milk to a smooth paste. Add remaining milk.
2. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from heat.
3. Add butter, brandy and nutmeg then serve.
