Tuna Sauce for Pasta


Very tasty and made in a jiffy from pantry basics. This is a good one for anyone about to go flatting to have in their cooking repertoire.

Prep Time: 20mins


2 Tbsp butter

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 x 185g cans tuna, flaked

250g sour cream

1 red capsicum, finely chopped

salt and pepper

250g pasta, cooked


1. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the onion and cook gently until translucent, about 10 minutes.

2. Add the tuna and the sour cream and heat together but do not let the sauce boil. Stir in the chopped red capsicum and season with salt and pepper. Toss through hot pasta.
