Marshmallow Melt  Cake in a Cup

Adding marshmallows to your Double Chocolate Cake in A Cup mix is perfect for a sweet 3pm treat. As an indulgent finishing touch, drizzle chocolate sauce and add a scoop of ice-cream.

Ingredients

1 Edmonds Cake in a Cup Double Chocolate packet mix

3 Tbsp milk

1 Tbsp mini marshmallows

chocolate sauce or ice-cream, optional

Method

  1. Use a 310mL capacity microwave safe mug to avoid overflow.
  2. Combine 1 cake mix sachet and 3 tablespoons of milk in your mug.
  3. Stir vigorously for 30 seconds with a spoon until evenly blended and smooth.
  4. Fold through 1 tablespoon of mini marshmallows.
  5. Microwave for 1 minute. Remove mug from microwave by the handle and let it stand before enjoying. 
  6. Sprinkle a few extra marshmallows on top, add a scoop of your favourite ice-cream or drizzle with chocolate sauce to turn this into a delicious dessert.
