French Toast

The tasty way to use up that stale bread!

  • 2 eggs

    2 Tbsp milk



    4 to 6 slices toast bread


    icing sugar, to dust

  • 1. Lightly beat eggs and milk together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 2. Cut slices of bread in half. Heat butter in a frying pan.
  • 3. Dip bread in egg. Place in frying pan and cook until golden on underside.
  • 4. Turn and cook the other side. Dust with icing sugar to serve.
