Apricots and spice add extra taste and texture to this plain white bread recipe. Lovely toasted!
3¼ cups (400g) Edmonds soft white bread mix
½ Tbsp (5g) Edmonds instant dry yeast
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp mixed spice
1 cup raisins or diced dried apricot
1 cup (250ml) water - lukewarm
1. Place the bread mix in a large bowl and make a well in the centre. Gently pour lukewarm water (approx. 30ºC) into the centre of the well and sprinkle the yeast on top. Add the cinnamon, mixed spice and dried fruit then mix by hand to combine all ingredients to form a dough.
1. Place all ingredients into the bread pan in the order recommended by your breadmaker manual.
